CWEA Brings Two Events to Eastern North Carolina
Published September 27 2021

As we continue to finalize the calendar for the 2022 Competitive Season, we are excited to welcome two new event partners to the lineup this year! Located in the Johnston & Wake County areas, these two events will mark the first CWEA shows in the Eastern North Carolina region.

On February 5th, a Premiere Event will be held at Corinth Holders High School in Wendell, North Carolina. Premiere Events are held the first three weeks of the event calendar and groups must participate in at least one of these shows to be eligible to attend CWEA Circuit Championships in March. The event will be open to Color Guards and will feature a full guard panel and judged competition. Percussion & Winds groups are also welcomed to attend the event, however a live, in-person judging panel will not be provided for this year. All groups attending (whether judged or exhibition) can use the event to fulfill their Championships Requirement of one Premiere event.

On February 19th, a Color Guard, Percussion & Winds Competition will be held at West Johnston High School in Benson, North Carolina. Featuring a full panel of judges, this event will serve as a great opportunity for groups to get a mid-season read from a judging panel.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to extend CWEA’s offerings to serve additional areas within our region,” said President Cody Crawford. “We look forward to two outstanding events!”

Groups who are interested in receiving additional information about these events should complete the form below. As more information becomes available, we will keep those groups informed by email. Registration for CWEA events will open on October 1! For additional information, stay tuned to cweaindoor.org!
