CWEA Celebrates Black History Month
Published February 1 2024

CWEA aspires to support the Black community and all underrepresented communities year-round. We aim to create a positive and rewarding performance experience for our youth and to develop a nurturing environment that will enhance the skills of performers and instructors of all ethnicities and backgrounds at all levels.

CWEA fully supports an environment that celebrates all individuals and provides the right conditions for each person to reach their highest potential. As a community in the marching arts, we must continue to dedicate ourselves to diversity and inclusivity within our organization and promote an environment that recognizes and celebrates everyone.

In honor of Black History Month, CWEA will spotlight African Americans in our organization and community who are making significant contributions inside and outside the indoor marching arts. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram (@cweaindoor) to see the amazing individuals making a difference in our organization and community.
